Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash was raised boating and fishing along with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is from the English, Irish and Swedish ethnic groups. Her great-grandfather, who was a Portuguese immigrants, arrived in America from Portugal.



 At a very young age, Kelly Nash was a avid fan of the Miami Marlins. While she was a sports enthusiast from a young age, she always wanted to be a news anchor. In the year 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Media Studies. In 2009 she graduated from Clemson University with a Masters Degree in Youth Development Leadership. As a condition of covering their baseball and soccer teams for the duration of her Sports information Department career, she was awarded an all-sports scholarship from the Clemson Academic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host who appears in several shows that the network airs, including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. Her appearances on On The Fly, the Nightly Game recap show, and NHL Network Studio are a part of her role as a host for NHL Network Studio. In March 2015 she was a part of the MLB Network. She also began working for the NHL Network in 2015. The NHL Network's operations on a daily basis were housed at the MLB Network headquarters.
